INSPECT VOLTAGE AT RELATED WIRING HARNESS
Measure the voltage at the power window subswitch terminal A.
Is the voltage more than 10 V?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair the related wiring harness.

INSPECT RELATED WIRING HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Disconnect the power window main switch connector.
Measure the resistance between power window main switch and power window subswitch as follows:
• Terminals A — B, terminals C — E (left front)
• Terminals N — E, terminals L — B (right rear)
• Terminals D — E, terminals B — B (left rear)
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair the related wiring harness.

INSPECT RELATED WIRING HARNESS FOR SHORT TO GROUND
Measure the resistance between power window subswitch terminal E and ground, and between power window subswitch terminal B and ground.
Is the resistance more than 10,000 ohms?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair the related wiring harness.

INSPECT POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH
Inspect the power window subswitch. (See POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH INSPECTION.)
Is the power window subswitch normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the power window subswitch. (See POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

INSPECT POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH
Inspect the power window main switch. (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH INSPECTION.)
Measure the voltage at the CJB J-03 terminal A.
Is the power window main switch normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the power window main switch. (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

INSPECT RELATED WIRING HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Disconnect the power window regulator connector.
Measure the resistance between power window subswitch terminal D and power window regulator terminal A, and between power window subswitch terminal C and power window regulator terminal B.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair the related wiring harness.

INSPECT RELATED WIRING HARNESS FOR SHORT TO GROUND
Measure the resistance between power window subswitch terminal D and ground, and between power window subswitch terminal C and ground.
Is the resistance more than 10,000 ohms?
Yes
Replace the power window regulator. (See FRONT WINDOW REGULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
No
Repair the related wiring harness.
