INSPECT 4WD SWITCH
• Inspect the 4WD lock switch.
• Is the 4WD lock switch normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Replace the 4WD lock switch.
|

INSPECT 4WD LOCK INDICATOR LIGHT WIRING HARNESS FOR SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY
• Turn the ignition switch off.
• Disconnect the 4WD lock switch connector.
• Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
• Measure the voltage between the 4WD lock switch vehicle-side terminal B and ground.
• Is the voltage less than 1.0 V?

Yes

• Inspect the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INSPECTION [L3].)(See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INSPECTION [EXCEPT L3].)
• If there is any malfunction, repair or replace the applicable part.

|
Repair or replace the wiring harness between 4WD lock switch terminal B and instrument cluster terminal 1A.
