1. Remove the brake shoes, wheel cylinder component, and push rod component. Refer to Section 04-11.
1. Remove the wheel hub nut.
1. Remove the locknut.
1. Position the ABS sensor out of the way.
1. Disconnect the parking brake cable.
2. Disconnect the brake line from the wheel cylinder.
3. Support the wheel knuckle.
4. Remove the lower shock absorber nut.
5. Remve the lower ball joint.
6. Remove the upper ball joint.
7. Remove the spring.
8. Remove the wheel knuckle cam bolt.
9. Remove the wheel knuckle.
10. Remove the wheel hub from the wheel knuckle using the SSTs.
11. Remove the snap ring.
12. Remove the wheel bearing from the wheel knuckle using the SSTs.
1. Install a new wheel bearing to the wheel knuckle using the SSTs.
2. Install the snap ring to the wheel knuckle.
3. Install the wheel hub to the wheel knuckle using the SSTs.
4. Position the wheel knuckle and install the wheel knuckle cam.
5. Temporarily tighten the wheel knuckle cam bolt.
6. Support the wheel knuckle and install the spring.
7. Install the lower shock absorber nut.
8. Install the upper ball joint.
9. Install the lower ball joint.
10. Tighten the wheel knuckle cam bolt.
11. Install the brake line to the wheel cylinder.
12. Install the parking brake cable to the brake backing plate.
1. Install the ABS sensor and the bracket bolts.
1. Install the wheel hub nut.
1. Install the locknut.
1. Install the brake shoes, wheel cylinder component, and push rod component. (See BRAKE DRUM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
2. Bleed the brake system. (See AIR BLEEDING (BRAKE SYSTEM).)
3. Inspect and adjust the wheel alignment if necessary. (See REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT.)
