PARKING BRAKE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the floor console. ( Vehicles with floor console) (See FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2. Remove the parking brake cover. (Vehicles without floor console)

3. Release the parking brake lever.

4. Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.

5. Remove the adjusting nut.

6. Remove the parking brake lever.

(1) Remove the bolt.

(2) Remove the front parking brake cable.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

8.• After installation, adjust the parking brake. (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER INSPECTION.)
