INPUT/TURBINE SPEED SENSOR INSPECTION [GF4AX-EL]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the battery and battery tray.

3. Remove the air cleaner component. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3].)

4. Disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.

5. Measure the resistance between the input/turbine speed sensor terminals.

• If there is any malfunction, replace the input/turbine speed sensor. (See INPUT/TURBINE SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GF4AX-EL].)

Resistance

330-390 ohms (ATF temperature: 20 °C {68 °F})

6. Connect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.

7. Install the air cleaner component. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3].)

8. Install the battery tray and battery.

9. Connect the negative battery cable.
