Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation of Ignition/Starter Switch





1. Turn ignition key to position "1" (arrow).

2. Disconnect plug connector (20) on ignition/starter switch (S2/1), reconnect.

3. Remove mechanical part of steering wheel lock (1), install. Service and Repair

4. Screw ignition/starter switch (S2/1) out of steering wheel lock (1), screw in, pull out, insert. Insert ignition/starter switch (S2/1) so that locating lug (arrow) engages in recess in steering wheel lock (1).

5. Check ignition/starter switch (S2/1) for proper function.
