Coolant Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Testing and Inspection
Temperature Switch - Cold Engine Lockout (2):
In heating mode (in-car temperature is lower than set on selector dial) below 33°C engine coolant temperature, the heater blower should not start in position "EC" or "NORM". Heater blower should start after 33°C coolant temperature have been attained. If not, pull 1-pole coupler from switch (2) and connect to ground. If heater blower starts after approx. 10 seconds, renew temperature switch.
