Charging the System

Refrigerant Line Connections:





Refer to SPECIFICATIONS/CAPACITIES/AIR CONDITIONING SPECIFICATIONS for refrigerant capacities.
1. Remove high and low service valve protective caps.
2. Connect manifold set, then open filling cylinder valve.
3. When specified refrigerant level has been reached, close gauge set low pressure valve and refrigerant supply valve.
4. Operate system until pressures stabilize, then ensure proper operation and pressures.
5. When charging is complete and system operating pressures are normal, disconnect manifold gauge set and install protective caps on service port valves.
