Air Flow Sensor Plate Position Indicator

The sensor plate position indicator is a potentiometer used to signal the need for extra enrichment during cold engine part throttle acceleration. The sensor informs the ECU how far, and how fast the sensor plate moves as the air flow increases. The potentiometer is adjusted at the factory, and is not adjustable in the field. If the potentiometer is found to be faulty, the entire air flow meter must be replaced.
