Mixture Control Unit

Throttle Valve Location:

The mixture control unit consists of the air-flow sensor, CIS-E fuel distributor and the air guide housing.
Incoming air deflects the plate of the air-flow sensor which actuates the plunger within the CIS-E fuel distributor. The position of the plunger determines the quantity of fuel required. The air guide housing directs the measured air through the throttle valve housing and to the intake system.
