Engine Does Not Start

Cause:
The formed hose between idle speed air valve and air guide housing slipped off because engine back fired.

Remedy:
Install ignition control unit manufactured by Siemens. Test air flow sensor position indicator (see Impulse Display 4 in respective engine section). Check rest position of air flow sensor plate, center air flow sensor plate. The rubber hoses between air guide housing and idle speed air valve must not be swollen, replace if necessary. Check formed hose and plastic connection fitting for tight fit, replace if necessary.
