Engine Systems (MAS)

Fuel System Components:

The engine systems (MAS) control unit combines the previous fuel pump and A/C compressor relays along with other functions into one single component.

Engine Systems (MAS) Control Unit:

The chart above lists inputs and outputs for the MAS control unit.
The MAS control unit is also equipped with on-board diagnostics. When the engine is running, any recognized faults will be stored in the control unit's memory. The stored faults can be extracted using an impulse counter at the on-board diagnostic connector. Furthermore, stored faults will not be erased if battery power is removed or the control unit is disconnected.
