Belt Tension Data
On the 190E 2.3L, 420SEL, and 560SEC, SEL & SL models, A/C compressor belt tension is 110 lbs on new belts, and 88-99 lbs. on used belts. On all other models, the belt tension is maintained by an automatic belt tensioner.
