Checking and Adjusting Rear Toe Angle

Toe angle is measure per wheel. Measure toe angle at normal vehicle height, then measure again with a spring deflection of approximately 2.4 inches. If toe angle is not within specified limits, an eccentric tie link rubber bushing with a center offset is available for adjustment, Figs. 1 and 2. Prior to removing the tie link bushing, mark position of eccentric bolt to rear axle carrier. To replace bushing with tie link installed on vehicle, use tool No. 124-589-02-43-00. To increase toe-in, install bushing with arrow facing downward. To decrease toe-in install bushing with arrow facing upward.
