Compression Test

- Warm engine to normal operating temperature.
- Remove spark plugs.
- Connect compression tester, special tool 001 589 77 21 00.
- Crank engine several times by pressing the contact switch on compression tester, in idle speed position with handbrake applied, to expell residues and soot.

CAUTION: Do not crank the engine at the starter SWITCH!

- Insert diagram sheet into compressio tester.
- Press compression tester into spark plug hole of respective cylinder.
- Open throttle valve fully.
- Crank engine approximately 8 revolutions with the starter. Check all cylinders in this manner.
- If minimum pressure is not achieved check cylinder for leaks.
