D. All Model 140, Replacement of Rear Vanity Mirrors: Overview

As of September 1992 production, revised rear vanity mirrors are installed.

On vehicles manufactured prior to production phase-in, the new mirror assembly should be installed. When ordering the part, please state the interior color code.






1. Push vanity mirror assembly forward (arrow, Figure 12) to compress spring clips, and disengage mirror assembly.

Note:
Parts marked with "Ind 25" or higher on the back side of the mirror assembly are the revised version and should not be replaced.



2. Disconnect 2-pole connector.

3. Connect 2-pole connector to new mirror assembly.

4. Install new vanity mirror assembly into headliner recess.
