Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair

Preceding work: Cover below left side of instrument panel removed.





Battery ground cable
Detach, connect.

Airbag unit
Remove, install.

Steering wheel
Remove, install.

Steering column jacket tube trim
Remove, install.

Connector, cruise control (CC) pushbutton switch (S40x1) from multipoint connector (6), below dashboard
Unclip, clip on.

Connector, cruise control (CC) pushbutton switch (S40x1)
Separate, connect

Flat head screws M4x20 (4)
Unscrew, screw in.

Bracket (3)
Remove, install.

Cruise control (CC) pushbutton switch (S40)
Extract, insert.

Note: When inserting the pushbutton switch (S40), run the cruise control (CC) pushbutton switch wiring harness through the trim of the steering column jacket tube.

Function test
Perform on road.
