Unlock Steering Lock

Unlock Steering Lock:

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.

Steering Lock Installed:





The steering lock cannot be unlocked when installed, the steering lock will be damaged beyond repair if this is attempted.

The actuator shaft (37f) in the steering lock must not be turned out of position "1" shown in the figure while installed, otherwise a built-in lockout (anti-theft protection) is engaged.

Steering Lock Removed:





When the steering lock (37) is removed, the lockout device can be released using a suitable drift.

To do this, press the drift into the opening (a) and turn the shift shaft in the steering lock part (37) by pressing in and simultaneously turning from position "0" to position "1".
