Removal
1. Remove cylinder head, refer to Cylinder Head Replacement. [1][2]Procedures
2. Remove timing case cover (65), refer to Lower Cover. Service and Repair
- The oil pan need not be removed
- Do not damage oil pan gasket (arrow); use care when taking off timing case cover (65); replace oil pan gasket, if necessary
3. Pull guide rail (6) off bearing pin (8)

Installation
Install in the reverse order
