Illustrated On Model 202:

1 Connect quiescent current retention device (7) as follows:
- Connect positive lead terminal (+) to positive pole on battery.
- Connect negative terminal (-) to battery ground (W10).
2 Switch on quiescent current retention device (7).

Component Identification, Part 1:

3 Disconnect negative pole terminal (1) on battery.
4 Connect multimeter (2) as follows using "electrical connection set":
- Connect positive (+) test cable to battery negative lead (1).
- Connect negative (-) test cable to battery negative pole (3)

Component Identification, Part 2:

5 Switch on multimeter (2) (amperes range).
6 Switch off quiescent current retention device (7) and disconnect.
7 Route test cable (6) to right out of of trunk or cargo area.
8 Close trunk lid.
