Dismantle/Assemble Electrohydraulic Control Module














REMOVAL
1. Remove caps (15) for solenoid valves
2. Unscrew Torx socket bolts (17a and 17b) and remove leaf springs (17).
- Pay attention to the different lengths of the Torx socket bolts
3. Using pliers tool No. 606 589 00 37 00, or equivalent, withdraw all solenoid valves (Y3/6y1 to Y3/6y6) from the shift plate (16).
4. Remove electronic control module (Y3/6) from the shift plate
- If required, to remove the electronic control module, bend away retaining lug on stiffening rib on oil temperature sensor

INSTALLATION
- Assemble in reverse order, noting the following information:
- Pay attention to the different lengths of the Torx socket bolts.
- Check O-rings on the solenoid valve, replace if necessary
- Ensure the two centering pins of the electronic control module engage in the shift plate.
- Tighten Torx retaining bolts to: 8 Nm
