Function of Rear Power Window Safety Feature

The rear power window safety feature disables the function of the rear power window switches (S21/3) and (S21/4) in the rear doors. The position of the rear power window safety switch (N72s5) id communicated to the rear driver-side door control module (N69/3) and rear passenger-side door control module (N69/4) by the lower control panel control module (N72) via CAN. As long as the switch is in the "on" position actuation of the rear power window switches (S21/3) and (S21/4) is ignored by the door control modules.
