Function of Windshield Wiper System

Interlinkage Of Components:

Prerequisite for all windshield wiper functions:
- Circuit "15R ON"

Function
The windshield wiper system is controlled with the combination switch (S4).

The following functions can be selected by turning the switch:
- Wiping with low speed (stage 1) or high speed (stage 2).
- Intermittent wiping, with rain sensor (code 345) installed with automatic interval control.

Then the switch is pressed in the direction of the steering column:
- Press to pressure point (wipe once): Wiping without washing.
- Pressing beyond pressure point: Front window is washed with water. Model 202: When the headlamps are switched on the headlamp cleaning system (HCS) is also actuated.
