Removing And Installing Traffic Data Memory












1 Connect quiescent current retention unit

See "Commercially Available Tools" given below.

2 Disconnect ground lead from battery
3 Remove trunk cover
4 Remove mount (1) with APS navigation processor (A2/30) and traffic data memory (A2/43) from spare wheel recess
5 Disconnect electrical connectors
6 Turn mount (1)
7 Unscrew screws and remove APS navigation processor (A2/30)
- Vehicles without mount (2)

8 Unclip mount (2) from traffic data memory (A2/43) and remove traffic data memory
- Vehicles with mount (2)

9 Unscrew screws (3) and remove traffic data memory (A2/43)
- Vehicles without mount (2)

10 Install in opposite order
