Remove/Install Control Module For Automatic A/C (Tempmatic)

Removing and installing pushbutton control module for automatic heater or air conditioning (Tempmatic)













1 Unclip cover panel (1) (arrows), pivot up and remove

NOTE: Do not disconnect electrical connectors.

2 Unscrew screws (2)
3 Pull pushbutton control module (N18 or N19/1) out toward rear
4 Disconnect connector (4)

NOTE: When disconnecting the connector tilt retaining strap down.

5 Remove pushbutton control module (N18 or N19/1)

NOTE: Installation:
1. When installing first insert left air distribution linkage, then right air distribution linkage, then slide in A/C pushbutton control module until it catches.
2. When replacing the A/C pushbutton control module version coding is required.

6 Reinstall in opposite order.
