Knock Sensor: Service and Repair
Remove/Install knock sensors
Shown On Engine 112 In Model 220:
DANGER:
- Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
1.1 Remove intake manifold
1.2 Remove compressor
2 Unscrew knock sensor from cylinder block
Bolt securing knock sensor to cylinder block - 20 N.m
3 Install in the reverse order
