Fuel Consumption Signal Function

ENGINE 104, 111, 112, 113, 119, 120, 137 (except , 112.96, 113.99) with CODE (245) Trip computer

The trip computer is informed about the actual fuel consumption through rectangular shaped pulse packages.

The consumption signal is calculated from the injection timing (e.g. 8 liters/hour). One square-wave pulse means 0.2 l/hour.

Note: With CAN compatible instrument cluster: Information is transmitted via CAN from the engine control unit to the instrument cluster.
