Rear Door Control Module

Purpose
Control of the power windows and reading in the rear door power window switch.

Design
The power window motor is integrated into the rear door control modules.

Location
The rear door control modules are located in the rear doors.

Function
The rear door control module on the driver and passenger-side receives requests to open or close the window via the CAN bus. The control module actuates the built-in power window motor and senses the pulses front the Halt sensors in the power window motor for position recognition . In addition the door control module recognizes actuation of the power window switch in the rear door (S21/3) or (S21/4).
