AR07.07-P-1454AG Remove/Install Mass Air Flow Sensor With Air Intake Pipe

Removing, Installing Hot Film Mass Air Flow Sensor With Air Intake Pipe

Shown On Engine 112:

Removing, installing
1 Remove engine trim panel with integrated air cleaner (1)


NOTE: Remove by pulling vertically up and off the cylinder head covers.


2 Unplug connector (2) of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)
3 Detach crankcase ventilation line (3)
4 Release crankcase ventilation line on right at hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)
5 Open catch of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) with a screwdriver
6 Push down catch of air intake pipe (4) at electronic accelerator actuator and remove air intake pipe (4) together with hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)


CAUTION: Do not damage catch.


7 Detach hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) from air intake pipe (4)


NOTE: Push back retaining clip with a screwdriver.


8 Inspect seals of air intake pipe (4) and of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5), replace if necessary
9 Install in the reverse order
