Design

The ETR control module with airbag (N2/2) (up to 11/99) or restraint systems control module (N2/7) (as of 12/99) is located in an aluminum housing and has one single plug connector. The housing and the electrical connector for the control module are designed so that malfunctions from switching on electrical loads or from radiated electromagnetic interference from the surroundings can be excluded with a high degree of reliability.
