Models 163, Model Year 2002 TeleAid Module
The Model 163, Model Year 2002, vehicles listed below have been identified as having a TeleAid module which results in loss of communication of the D2B ring (Audio, CD, Phone inoperative) and generates an error code 906. The TeleAid units are marked with Q6 and a Hardware date code of 2801.
Please check your inventory for vehicles on the attached list and replace the TeleAid control module with a version Q5 unit. Alternatively, if you have already retailed any of these units, please contact the customer to arrange for the replacement of the TeleAid control module.
