If you receive reports in the above model vehicles where the cruise control disengages at highway speeds, but functions at lower speeds (~25 mph), ensure that a difference in tire circumference between the four tires due to un-uniform wear is not the cause. Additionally; ensure that all 4 tires equipped on the vehicle are identical in the following manner; tire manufacture, application (snow, all-season, performance, etc.), speed, and load ratings.
Note:
Version/SCN coding should be considered, if the vehicle recently received a ME software flash or control module replacement.
If you receive reports in the above model vehicles of the cruise control disengaging, please ensure that the vehicle's ME control module is properly version/SCN coded.
