Remove And Install Generator

Shown On Engine 112:

Remove/Install
1 Disconnect battery ground line

NOTE: Insulate cable lug of ground line for protection against unintentional contact of disconnected ground line.

2 Slacken poly V-belt
3 Remove inner fender in right front fender
4 Disconnect electrical line circuit 30 (B+) (1) and electrical line circuit 61 (D+) (2)

NOTE: On engine 112, 113 take off cover sleeve (4).

- Nut, terminal B+ to generator - Engine 111 = 15 Nm
- Engine 112, 113.94.96.98 = 18 Nm
- Nut on alternator terminal D+ - Engine 111 = 4 Nm
- Engine 112, 113.94.96.98 = 5 Nm

5 Unscrew alternator screws (3)
- Bolt of generator = 42 Nm

6 Take out generator (G2)
7 Install in reverse sequence.
