Erroneous Fault Codes Set in MCS When Retrofitting Phone
When retrofitting a cellular telephone in the above model vehicles as of VIN A432363, one or both of the following fault codes may be set in the Modular Control System (MCS):
^ N1141 Set-actual configuration of D2B ring differs
^ N1150 Unknown fault code Unknown fault type: -1
These fault codes appear as a result of a software error with DAS versions 02/2003 and 03/2003. This error has been identified and corrected in DAS version 04/2003. Use only DAS version 04/2003 to reconfigure or reset the D2B ring after installing a cellular telephone. DO NOT replace the MCS or any other component for this issue.
