AZ82.70-P-0009-02VV Retrofit GSM Antenna


Repair Materials:











1 Detach internal component (6) in upper area from bumper (5).

Bonded surfaces must be pretreated in accordance with adhesive manufacturer's instructions.

2 Attach left GSM antenna (1) as shown using listed adhesive to the bumper (5).
3 Route antenna line (4) into given cutout in impact absorber (8).
4 Attach right GSM antenna (2) as shown using listed adhesive to the bumper (5).
5 Clip internal component (6) completely back into bumper (5).
6 Wind overlength of antenna line (4) to form a loop and attach between bumper (5) and internal component (6) (see arrow).

Vehicles with code 220 Parktronic System (PTS)
7.1 Install antenna line (3) through grommet (7) to Parktronic wiring harness.
7.2 Attach antenna line (3) using tie strap to Parktronic wiring harness.

Vehicles without code 220 Parktronic System (PTS)
8.1 Install antenna line (3) through additionally ordered grommet (7).
8.2 Attach grommet (7) at a distance of 40 cm from the internal component (8) on the antenna line (3).

9 Route antenna line (3) through breakthrough in luggage compartment and seal with grommet (7).
10 Reinstall bumper.
11 Route antenna line (3) as shown along given lines into right of interior and fasten in place with tie straps.







12 Route antenna line (3) as shown along given lines and between floor covering and rocker panel in right footwell and fasten in place with tie straps.
13 Fasten plug (9) of antenna line (3) as shown to given wiring harness in center console using a tie strap.
14 Attach antenna line (3) using two strips of felt tape (see arrows) onto floor in right-hand side footwell.
15 Tie back Overlength of antenna line (3) at suitable position in right footwell.
