GF80.50-P-2003SK Deactivate Anti-Theft Alarm, Function
- with CODE (551) Anti-theft alarm system (ATA [EDW])

The anti-theft alarm (ATA) is deactivated by:
^ Unlocking or locking the central locking (CL) with the transmitter key (A8/1) or
^ Inserting the transmitter key (A8/1) into the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73)

The corresponding signals for the EIS control unit (N73) are read in via the controller area network bus class B (interior compartment) (CAN B) by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2). The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) deactivates the ATA

Netherlands: The alarm signal horn with additional battery (H3/1) outputs an acoustic feedback by buzzing three times

Trunk lid remote control:
The trunk lid remote control function only partially disarms the ATA.

The
^ trunk lid rotary tumbler microswitch (S88/1),
^ ATA inclination sensor (B33) and with code (882b) Interior monitoring (only with ATA) the
^ interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver (A26/14) are excluded as alarm criterion.

The remaining ATA remains armed.
After the trunk is closed, the ATA is reset to its state before opening.
