Function
To switch off the towing sensor (TS) actuate TS OFF switch (S84s3) in Vario roof/ATA switch group (S84). The request "Switch off towing sensor" is read in by the upper control panel control module (N72/1) and relayed via the controller area network bus class B (interior compartment) (CAN B) to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2)

The acknowledgment signal of the LED in the TS OFF switch (S84s3) starts 0.5 s after releasing the TS OFF switch (S84s3) and flashes for 2 s (flashing light).
When the anti-theft alarm (ATA) is then actuated, the towing sensor (TS) remains deactivated.

The towing sensor (TS) only remains switched off for activation of the anti-theft alarm (ATA)This feature must be switched off again before the anti-theft alarm (ATA) is activated the next time.
