GF80.50-P-4005SK Acoustic Alarm, Function

GF80.50-P-4005SK Acoustic Alarm, Function
- with CODE (551) Anti-theft alarm system (ATA [EDW])

The acoustic alarm is output by the alarm signal horn with additional battery (H3/1). The type of acoustic alarm depends on the triggering criteria.

Automatic triggering with alarm signal horn with additional battery (H3/1)

This happens if, with the ATA activated,
^ the connection lines are disconnected or
^ the vehicle battery is disconnected.

The alarm is not triggered in the event of a "normal" voltage drop by the vehicle battery (e.g. exterior illumination remained switched on).

The alarm duration depends on the national version

Actuation requirements with ATA
The alarm signal horn with additional battery (H3/1) can trigger an alarm if it receives an actuation request via the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2), which reads in the switches and sensors relevant for the ATA alarm. The alarm duration is 30 s.

Actuation request with panic alarm (with code (763) Radio remote control with panic switch)
Actuate panic alarm button (PANIC) on transmitter key (A8/1) for approx. 1 s.
The alarm duration is 180 s.
