The following installation is described using vehicle with code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation) as an example.

Component Identification:

1 Route interface wiring harness in slot of COMAND operating, display and controller unit and fix in place.
2 Connect on-board coupling (5) of COMAND operating, display and controller unit to radio adapter connector of interface wiring harness and stow in lower section of radio recess.

The interface coupling will be connected to the iPod interface at a later time.







3 Remove 2-pin coupling of Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST) from on-board coupling (5) of COMAND operating, display and controller unit and install in radio adapter coupling of interface wiring harness.

The radio adapter connector will be connected at a later time.
