AH82.60-P-0001-06A Notes On Removal/Installation Of The Fiber Optic Cable For The Media Oriented System Transport (MOST)

The optical fibers (1) of the Media Oriented System Transport (MOST) are installed in a ring structure.
Every individual optical fiber (1) has an input and output.
The definition of the inputs and outputs is performed by the direction of the signal flow, which is shown with arrows (arrows D, E) on the couplings (2) of the optical fibers (1).

- The contact cavity of the coupling (2) on which the arrow (arrow D) points in the direction of the optical fiber (1) is defined as the input.
The signal flow takes place from the MOST subscriber (A, B, C) to the optical fiber (1).

- The contact cavity of the coupling (2) on which the arrow (arrow E) points in the direction of the MOST subscriber (A, B, C) is defined as the output.
The signal flow takes place from the optical fiber (1) to the MOST subscriber (A, B, C).
