Function
The central locking (CL) including locked and unlocking of all vehicle doors, trunk lid, tank flap, glove compartment and stowage compartment in center console.

Operation
The central locking (CL) can be operated in various manners:
^ Remote control with transmitter key (A8/1).
^ Control with Unlock CL interior switch (N72/1s16)
^ Control with Lock CL interior switch and ATA function indicator lamp (N72/1s17)
^ Opening a vehicle door from inside

It is only possible to operate the central locking (CL) with the mechanical key to a limited extent.Only the driver's door and the trunk lid can be opened with the mechanical key
On vehicles with code (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) is triggered in event of alarm
