GF80.20-P-3005SK Lock With Transmitter Key, Function

Component Identification:

When the "Lock" transmit button on the transmitter key (A8/1) is pressed, it transmits a signal to the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) via radio. It is relayed to the EIS control unit (N73) via the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2). On vehicles with code (880a) Locking system with remote control, an infrared signal is transmitted parallel to the radio signal to the left IR receiver unit (A26/1) or right IR receiver unit (A26/2) via infrared (precise aiming required)This signal is read in by the left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2) and transmitted to the EIS control unit (N73) via CAN B (CAN)

The EIS control unit (N73) checks the access authorization of the transmitter key (A8/1). If the access authorization is valid, the EIS control unit (N73) transmits the "Lock" command via CAN B (CAN) to the left door control unit (N69/1), the right door control unit (N69/2) and the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2). These then actuate the
^ Right door CL motor (M14/5)
^ Left door CL motor (M14/6)
^ CL fuel filler flap motor (M14/10),
^ CL glove compartment motor (M14/18) and den
^ CL center console compartment motor (M14/19) to lock the vehicle.

The opening request for the trunk lid external operation switch (S88/8) is inhibited.

If the driver's door is open during locking, the driver's door is not locked An open passenger door is locked

Visual feedback
When the doors are locked and closed and the trunk is closed, the following components are actuated three times each:
^ Left turn signal lamp (E1e5) and
^ right turn signal lamp (E2e5)
by the driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module,
^ left turn signal lamp (E3e1) and
^ right turn signal lamp (E4e1)
by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2),
^ left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5)
by the left door control unit (N69/1) and
^ right outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/6)
by the right door control unit (N69/2)

The control is performed by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) (flash master).

After locking, the interior CL unlock switch, "Lock" CL interior switch and ATA function indicator lamp are deactivated If, after locking, the transmitter key (A8/1) is inserted into the EIS control unit (N73), the interior CL unlock switch, "Lock" CL interior switch and ATA function indicator lamp are reactivated The central locking is then in the same status as after locking the vehicle with the "Lock" CL interior switch and ATA function indicator lamp. However, the vehicle is only unlocked again by opening a door.
