GF80.20-P-3006SK Unlock With Transmitter Key, Function

Component Identification:

Preset "Selective" or "Global"
Depending on the presetting on the transmitter key (A8/1) the vehicle is unlocked globally or selectively when the "Unlock" transmit button is pressed.
Conversion in both directions is possible by simultaneously pressing the "Unlock" and "Lock" transmit buttons on the transmitter key (A8/1) for approx. 5 s.

Globally unlocking:
The entire vehicle is unlocked (driver's door, passenger door, trunk lid, fuel filler flap as well as glove compartment and center console compartment).

Selective unlocking:
Only the driver's door, fuel filler flap as well as the glove compartment and center console compartment are unlocked. The trunk lid and passenger door are unlocked when the "Unlock" transmit button is pressed again.

Function sequence using "Global unlocking" as example
When the "Unlock" transmit button on the transmitter key (A8/1) is pressed, it transmits a signal to the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) via radio. It is relayed via the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) to the EIS control unit (N73). On vehicles with code (880a) Locking system with infrared remote control, an infrared signal is transmitted via infrared to the left IR receiver unit(A26/1) or right IR receiver unit (A26/2) parallel to the radio signal (precise aiming required). This signal is read in by the left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2) and transmitted to the EIS control unit (N73) via CAN B (CAN).

The EIS control unit (N73) checks the access authorization of the transmitter key (A8/1). If the access authorization is valid, the EIS control unit (N73) transmits the "Locking" command via the

CAN B (CAN) to the left door control unit (N69/1), the right door control unit (N69/2) and rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
These then actuate the:
^ right door CL motor (M14/5)
^ left door CL motor (M14/6)
^ CL fuel filler flap motor (M14/10),
^ CL glove compartment motor (M14/18) and den
^ CL center console compartment motor (M14/19) to unlock the vehicle.

The opening request for the trunk lid external operation switch (S88/8) is enabled

The overhead control panel control module switches on the interior lighting

Visual feedback
After locking, the following components are actuated three times each:
^ left turn signal lamp (E1e5) and
^ right turn signal lamp (E2e5)
by the driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module,
^ left turn signal lamp (E3e1) and
^ right turn signal lamp (E4e1)
by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2),
^ left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5)
by the left door control unit (N69/1) and
^ right outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/6)
by the right door control unit (N69/2).

The control is performed by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) (flash master).
