GF80.20-P-3010SK Open Trunk Lid With Transmitter Key, Function

Function
When the "Unlock trunk lid" transmit button is actuated, the transmitter key (A8/1) transmits a signal to the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64). This signal is relayed via the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) to the EIS control unit (N73)
On vehicles with code (880a) Locking system with infrared remote control, an infrared signal is transmitted parallel to the radio signal to the left IR receiver unit (A26/1) or right IR receiver unit (A26/2) via infrared (precise aiming required)
This signal is read in by the left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2) and transmitted to the EIS control unit (N73). The EIS control unit (N73) checks the access authorization of the transmitter key (A8/1).

If the access authorization is valid, the EIS control unit (N73) transmits the "Opening" command to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2). It actuates the corresponding trunk lid CL motor (S88/1m1) in the trunk lid lock to unlock the trunk lid electrically

When the trunk lid is opened via the transmitter key (A8/1) the central locking remains inactive (no unlocking)The "Unlock" CL interior switch (N72/1s16) and the "Lock" CL interior switch and ATA function indicator lamp (N72/1s17) are not enabled Once the trunk lid has been closed, it can only be opened by reactuating the transmitter key (A8/1).
