Function
The left electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/1) and right electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/2) can be folded in by the outside mirror folding switch (S50/1s39) (garage position) and folded out (driving position).When the outside mirror folding switch (S50/1s3) is actuated the information is read in by the upper control panel control module (N72/1) and is relayed to the left door control module (N69/1) and to the right door control module (N69/2), which actuates the left electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/1) and right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2).

The speed signal for the manual and automatic mirror folding is sent to the left door control module (N69/1) by the instrument cluster (A1).

Automatic mirror folding (automatic adjustment)

Function prerequisites
^ Function in instrument cluster (A1) activated and
^ to fold out:
- Mirror housing was previously folded in with automatic function
^ to fold in:
- Mirror housing was previously folded out with automatic function
- a change from c. 15 ON to c. 15C OFF was recognized after folding out

Function
When the vehicle is locked from outside with the transmitter key, the left electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/1) and right electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/2) are folded in automatically and the next time the driver/passenger door is opened they are moved correspondingly to the previous position.If the left electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/1) and right electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/2) are still folded in with c. 15R (adjusted via automatic folding), they are immediately folded out.

If the left electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/1) and right electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/2) are moved to the garage position when the outside mirror folding switch (S50/1s3) is actuated, the automatic adjustment is not actuated

The automatic function is reactivated when the vehicle speed is exceeded more than 47 km/h once
