Position measurement
The left electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/1) is equipped with a mirror up/down adjustment potentiometer (M21/1r2) and mirror adjustment in/out potentiometer (M21/1r3). The right electrically adjustable heated outside mirror (M21/2) is equipped with a mirror up/down adjustment potentiometer (M21/2r2) and mirror adjustment in/out potentiometer (M21/2r3).

The position of the left electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/1) and right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) is indicated to the right door control module (N69/2) and left door control module (N69/1) via voltage changes on the mirror adjustment potentiometer (M21/1r2, M21/1r3, M21/2r2 and M21/2r3)

Blockage detection
If the voltage change on the mirror adjustment potentiometers (M21/1r2, M21/1r3, M21/2r2 and M21/2r3) is less than 50 mV per 0.5 s, the adjustment is interrupted immediately.
