Test And Adjustment Values For Gap Dimensions:

Shown on main bearing (4) on left side of vehicle

1. Adjust side transition (arrow A) on Vario roof front section (1) in relation to A-pillar cover (2) by removing or inserting spacers (3) on both main bearings (4).

Alignment by moving Vario roof in area of main bearing (4) at side.

2. Insert feeler gauges each on left and right approx. 400 mm away from center of roof and thereby arrest joint dimension (S).Press down Vario roof front section (1) in front area and adjust transition from roof frame (5) to Vario roof front section by moving main bearing (4) toward front or toward rear (1) with gauge (7). Tighten bolts (6).

Helper required for holding Vario roof position or for tightening bolts (6).

Observe marking on gauge (7): "D" points toward Vario roof front section (1), "DR" points to roof frame (5).Check with "Y0" at center of roof, with "Y400" 400 mm away from center of roof on left and right.
Observe tightening torque for bolts (6).
