GF77.30-P-3004SK Subsequently Locking of Vario Roof, Function

GF77.30-P-3004SK Subsequently Locking Of Vario Roof, Function
- up to model year 08

Lock Vario roof subsequently via Vario roof actuation switch (S84s1)

Function prerequisites:
^ Circuit 15 ON
^ Status of Vario roof recognized (determination of Vario roof position)
^ No overvoltage or undervoltage
^ Temperature of soft top mechanism hydraulic unit (A7/5) in valid range for corresponding actuation direction and type of actuation
^ Vario roof actuators (soft top mechanism hydraulic unit (A7/5) and cylinder) okay

In contrast to "normal" Vario roof actuation, the following prerequisites are not important for subsequent locking:
^ Power window error/power window positions
^ Vehicle speed signals

Function
If the Vario roof is not completely locked following actuation, the "Subsequent locking" function can be activated, whereby here, the power windows are not actuated in contrast to the regular Vario roof sequence.

Subsequent locking of Vario roof with transmitter key (A8/1) with code (880a) Closing system with infrared remote control
In contrast to the subsequent locking of Vario roof via the Vario roof actuation switch (S84s1), it is possible with this function to open or close the side window centrally (emergency opening) when the Vario roof is closed

Emergency opening, example
The Vario is closed and locked in the end position. The button on the transmitter key (A8/1) via infrared signal "Close Vario roof" is pressed Then the front and rear windows are moved up When the actuation direction is reversed within t< 4 s on the transmitter key (A8/1) via the infrared signal "Open Vario roof", emergency opening of the front windows is accomplished. The position of the front window is not important for emergency opening The rear window and the soft top mechanism hydraulic unit (A7/5) do not participate in the emergency opening operation.

If, after emergency opening, an opening request is received from the transmitter key (A8/1) via the infrared signal, a "normal" "Open Vario roof" operation is started.

When the direction of actuation is reversed after t > 4 s on the transmitter key (A8/1) via the infrared signal "Open Vario roof", a "normal" operation is started.

Central locking, example
The Vario roof is opened and locked in its end position The button on the transmitter key (A8/1) via infrared signal "Open Vario roof" is pressed The front and rear window are lowered The soft top mechanism hydraulic unit (A7/5) does not participate on central locking with transmitter key (A8/1) via infrared signal
