Function requirements
^ Terminal 15R ON or

Function
The driver seat can be manually adjusted using the left front seat adjustment switch group (S22), the front passenger seat using the right front seat adjustment switch group (S23).

Example for driver seat
By pressing the seat fore/aft switch (S22s3) the driver's seat can be moved forward or backward. To adjust the rear height of the seat, press the rear seat raise/lower switch (S22s4); to adjust the front height of the seat, press the front seat raise/lower switch (S22s2).

By pressing the backrest switch (S22s5) the backrest inclination can be adjusted.

The adjustment request from the left front seat adjustment switch group (S22) is relayed via the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1), which then actuates the motors (M27/1, M27/2, M27/3 or M27/5) accordingly.

The front passenger seat is adjusted in accordance with the same scheme as the driver seat.

Function
To prevent the driver or front passenger seat colliding with the bulkhead or the roll bar, the max. ranges of adjustment of the seats are stored in the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) and in the passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2).

The motors (M27/1, M27/2, M27/3 and M27/5) and the motors (M28/1, M28/2, M28/3 and M28/5) are shut off before the mechanical stop is reached.
