GF91.29-P-2014SK Easy Entry, Driver Seat, Function
- with CODE (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors)
- with CODE (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory

Component Identification:

Function requirements
^ Function in instrument cluster (A1) activated and
^ No overvoltage or undervoltage
^ Seats normalized.
^ Remove transmitter key or
^ open driver door with circuit 15R or
^ open driver door with circuit 15C or
^ open driver door with transmitter key removed.

Abort conditions
^ Closing the driver door.
^ With manual adjustment request via left seat adjustment switch group (S22).
^ With manual adjustment request via steering column adjustment/steering wheel heater switch (S59/1).
^ With denormalization of driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1).
^ With motor blocking detection (M27/1, M27/2, M27/3 and M27/5).
^ With circuit change from circuit 15 On up to circuit 15C On and with driver door open or closed.

Easy entry/exit function
The easy entry/exit function allows the driver to enter or leave the vehicle in a more comfortable way.
The steering column is moved upward and the driver seat is moved back.

The previous driving position is moved to when
^ the driver door is closed with circuit 15 On or
^ the transmitter key is inserted into the EIS control unit (N73) with the door closed.

The driving position is stored in the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) for that particular key. If the key is changed, a new driver seat driving position, steering column position, left electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/1) position and right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) position are stored and assigned to the transmitter key.

The easy entry/exit function can be configured via the instrument cluster (A1). The function can be entirely or partially (only steering column active) disabled.

Repetition safeguard
Repeatedly inserting and removing the transmitter key causes the equipment to move between the easy entry/exit positions and the driving positions every time.

In order to prevent this, the number of cycles is limited to 5. The counter is reset when:
^ the transmitter key is turned to circuit 15R or
^ if the status of the driver door changes.
